Courage

When I think of you all day,
I remember the courage you've inspired along my life's way.
Courage to ask you on a date,
Courage to call you when it's really late,
Courage to laugh for no reason at all,
Courage to smile even if I fall,
Courage to dance like a fool,
Courage to obey my perent's rules,
Courage to be nice to anyone,
Courage to work hard until the job is done,
Courage to want to be free,
Courage to write cheesy poetry,
Courage to be stubborn about my love,
Courage to ask for miracles from up above,
Courage to believe that I can lead,
Courage to just be me.
